Cat picker still hates me.
It was interesting how all of my peers resolutely paid no attention to the (apparently) mentally disabled woman rocking and waving a small American flag as she sat on the concrete bench at the university admin circle bus stop. Of course, I wasn't brave enough to speak to her either. I suppose my snap-diagnoses of mental illness could be unfair: she could be highly intelligent but limited in communication. However, her age could be seen in her face, and her clothing tells a different story -of an individual, homeless, and not well. *edit* say, think this needs a crop on the right edge? |

We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you  the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on.
